Termio is a native Mac app for running AI coding agents next to each other. Each agent gets a real terminal, so slash commands, pickers, MCP servers and status bars behave as they do anywhere else. It's built for developers who run several agents at once and need to see which one is stuck. It's free, MIT licensed, and needs no account.

  • Many agents: works with Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, Pi, Amp, Kimi, Crush, Grok and others.
  • Live status: every session shows working, finished, or blocked on you, and the states roll up into the menu-bar tray.
  • Worktree per agent: worktrees are read from git and nested under the project, so two agents can work one repo without touching each other's files.
  • Side panel: browse files, edit with syntax highlighting, read git diffs, search contents, and render Markdown with tables, math and Mermaid.
  • Command palette: run any action, jump to any session, project or file, and preview themes live.
  • Remote hosts: sessions run on machines from your own SSH config, using system OpenSSH with no relay.
  • Scriptable: a termio sessions CLI lets an agent or your own script start sibling sessions, answer their prompts and supervise a project.

An iPhone app attaches to the same live terminal on your Mac, so you can check progress and approve a blocked run from anywhere. Pairing uses a QR code and a token, with direct LAN connections at home and an outbound tunnel away. There's no Termio cloud in the middle.

If you're comparing it with other AI terminals, the difference is the focus: it manages a fleet of agents rather than a single one. It requires macOS 14 or later.
