This screen recorder and editor turns raw captures into polished demos. It's built for people making product walkthroughs, tutorials and bug reports who want a finished look without a separate editing pass. A free alternative to Screen Studio and ScreenFlow, it runs on Windows, macOS and Linux.

Every recording opens already zoomed on your clicks, on a wallpaper, with padding, shadow and rounded corners. Change any of it, or export as is.

• Editable cursor. The pointer is recorded as data, so you can change its size, smoothing and click bounce after the take.
• Timeline edits. Zooms, speed ramps, trims and comments sit on one timeline.
• Transcript editing. Delete a word or a silence and the cut lands on the timeline without touching the original.
• 3D and frames. Orbit the screen during zooms, use 3D cursors, and place the take in a laptop or phone frame over animated backgrounds.
• Webcam layouts. Picture in picture, side by side or stacked, with background blur, cutout or replacement done on your computer.
• Formats and blur. Export for 16:9, 9:16, 1:1 and more, and blur regions like passwords or emails.

Capture uses each system's own method: ScreenCaptureKit on macOS, Windows Graphics Capture on Windows, and PipeWire on Linux. Export gives you MP4 up to source resolution, or a GIF, rendered locally.

Captions come from whisper.cpp and work offline after a one-time model download. An optional agent can propose edits from the transcript and timeline. It's off by default and needs your own provider key.

It's MIT licensed, with no account, no usage caps and no uploads of your video. It continues an archived project.
