Uptimepage

Uptimepage combines uptime monitoring with a customer-facing status page in a single tool. It checks your sites and APIs every 60 seconds from regions across North America, Europe, and Asia, fires alerts the moment something goes down, and keeps a live public page your customers can bookmark. Free to start, AGPL-licensed, and self-hostable with no artificial limits.

Eight check types cover most infrastructure:

• HTTP/HTTPS checks status codes, response headers, body content, auth tokens, and redirect behavior
• TCP confirms a port is accepting connections, useful for databases, mail servers, and game servers
• DNS validates that a lookup returns the expected answer, not just that it resolves
• Ping tests whether a host responds to ICMP, even when no port is open
• Heartbeat flips the model: your cron job calls in, and silence triggers the alert
• TLS reads the certificate expiry on every handshake and warns you while there's still time to renew
• Domain queries the registry directly for expiry, separate from the cert
• Browser flow runs a real browser through a multi-step login and charts how long each step takes

Alerts go to Slack, Discord, Teams, Telegram, WhatsApp, PagerDuty, email, SMS, or any HTTPS webhook. Each monitor binds its own channels, so a flapping marketing site doesn't wake on-call. Deduplication and flap suppression keep noise low, and reminders repeat until someone acknowledges.

The public status page carries your brand colors and logo, a 90-day uptime timeline, live incident notes, scheduled maintenance windows, an RSS feed, a JSON API, and an embeddable SVG badge. Incidents open automatically when a monitor goes down and close on recovery. You can add public notes your customers see in real time.

For teams, there's role-based access, an audit log, and shareable single-monitor links for clients or vendors. Secrets stored as named tokens are referenced across monitors and rotated in one place. The tool is also manageable via API or Terraform, which makes it a reasonable fit for infrastructure-as-code workflows.

It's a direct alternative to tools like UptimeRobot, Pingdom, or Atlassian Statuspage, with the added option to run it entirely on your own infrastructure.
