Paralino

Paralino is a privacy-first location sharing app for people who want to stay connected with family and friends without handing their data to ad-driven platforms. Every piece of information, including your location, speed, battery level, and travel history, is end-to-end encrypted before it leaves your device.

The encryption stack is serious. Paralino uses Argon2id for password hashing, XChaCha20-Poly1305 for symmetric encryption, X25519 for key exchange, and Ed25519 for signatures. You can inspect both the encrypted and decrypted data directly inside the app, so there's no need to take privacy claims on faith.
