openchoreoOpenChoreo is an internal developer platform for Kubernetes. It lets developers and AI agents build, deploy, and operate apps, resources, and agentic workloads from one place. It's aimed at platform teams that want self-service for developers without hiding the cluster underneath.
It ships with a Backstage-powered developer portal, a CLI, APIs, and MCP interfaces, so people and coding agents work against the same platform and the same guardrails.
The architecture is modular, with separate control, data, build, and observability planes. You can adopt it step by step, and scale from one cluster to multi-cloud or hybrid setups.
It's self-hostable on any Kubernetes infrastructure, from cloud to on-premises to edge, so you keep control of your data and where it runs. That makes it a fit for teams weighing it against commercial options like Humanitec. A local quick start gets you hands-on in about ten minutes. OpenChoreo is a sandbox project under the Linux Foundation.
