MyCompany is a self-hosted business software platform built for small and mid-sized businesses that need real ERP depth without paying per seat or per module. It covers the full operational stack: sales, purchasing, inventory, invoicing, manufacturing, projects, and HR, all running off a single shared database. No data silos between departments.

It's built on lsFusion, a fifth-generation declarative language that keeps the codebase tight (around 25,000 lines of code) and makes customization accessible to SQL programmers, business analysts, and advanced Excel users, not just professional developers. If you can model a business process in a spreadsheet, you can likely extend MyCompany without outside help.

Key capabilities include:

  • 10 integrated modules covering the full SMB workflow from procurement to invoicing
  • POS hardware support including barcode scanners, receipt printers, and scales
  • Accounting system integration with automatic data exchange, no manual imports
  • Web and desktop clients that run on any OS and any relational database
  • Concurrent scale tested to 1,000 simultaneous users and 3 TB of data
  • Built-in tooling for administrators: process monitor, profiler, scheduler, and detailed logs

Compared to platforms like Odoo or ERPNext, MyCompany's differentiator is the lsFusion foundation. One language handles client, server, forms, reports, OLTP, and OLAP together. Developers don't switch paradigms mid-project. ACID compliance and constraint enforcement are built in, so transaction management isn't something you bolt on later.

The Apache 2.0 license covers MyCompany itself; the underlying lsFusion platform is LGPL v3. Both allow free use, modification, and distribution with no vendor lock-in and no hidden fees. The platform runs on free underlying technologies, so there's no requirement to license Windows Server or a commercial SQL engine.

It's a practical fit for wholesale, retail, e-commerce, services, and custom manufacturing operations that want to own their stack and adapt it as the business changes.
